چکیده

Background Type B aortic dissection (TBAD), is defined as a involving the aorta distal to left subclavian artery with ascending and arch not affected. TBAD classified due time frame presence of complications. Complicated (co-TBAD) patients have greater mortality rate than uncomplicated (un-TBAD) thoracic endovascular repair (TEVAR) considered gold-standard intervention for these clinical challenges. Methods We undertook systematic review literature regarding TEVAR in co-TBAD un-TBAD. A comprehensive search was undertaken across four major databases evaluated assessed until June 2020. Results total 16,104 were included study (7772 8352 un-TBAD). significantly higher proportion comorbidities seen compared Acute more frequent group (73.55% vs. 66.91%), while chronic common un-TBAD (33.8% 70.73%). Postprocedure stroke (5.85% 3.92%; p < .01), postprocedural renal failure (7.23 11.38%; .01). No difference observed in-hospital however 30 days group. One-year survival but this 5-year survival. Conclusion In our analysis we can appreciate that despite cohort, there no between two groups did any difference.

Uncomplicated Acute Type B Aortic Dissection: Selection Guidelines for TEVAR

Traditionally, the surgical management of acute type B aortic dissections was reserved for patients with signs of malperfusion, rapid expansion, retrograde dissection or rupture. The adjunct of endovascular techniques has brought a paradigm shift, leaning towards preventing long term dissection complications. Multiple risk factors have been proposed to identify patients at risk for long term ao...

Emergency TEVAR for Complicated Acute Type B Aortic Dissection

Non-complicated type B aortic dissection has been managed by conservative treatment at least in the acute phase. However, complicated acute type B aortic dissection, such as rupture or visceral ischemia secondary to malperfusion, has required emergency open surgical management. Despite recent advance of open surgery and perioperative managements, early results of emergency surgery has been repo...

The new indication of TEVAR for uncomplicated type B aortic dissection

The classical therapeutic indication for type B aortic dissection is based on either medication or open surgery; medication therapy is recommended for relatively stable uncomplicated type B aortic dissection. With improvements in endovascular repair and the potential risk of disease progression, it is now necessary to evaluate the requirement for revision of the therapeutic choice of uncomplica...

Early and midterm outcomes of thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) for acute and chronic complicated type B aortic dissection

Thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) in the current era has been chosen as a dominant and minimally invasive treatment for complicated aorta dissection. This study aimed to assess safety and feasibility of TEVAR in acute and chronic type B aortic dissection.Between January 2011 and December 2013, 85 patients with complicated type B aortic dissection undergoing TEVAR were divided into acu...
